Hello, I am Melissa Sanchez, current graduate of Brenau University. I have the honor of having graduated with my Bachelors of Fine Arts and my Masters of Interior Design (BFA/MID '12). Through hard work and perserverance I was able to finish Brenau University's five year program in only four years.
During my four years at Brenau University I came to identify my design style as contemporary. I enjoy the challange that is presented when I am asked to create something beyond the symmetrical. Being able to break the bounderies of four walls to create spaces filled with movement and life allows my creativity as a designer to surpass what I might have thought to be my own limits. The past four years of my education have prepared me for a career filled with opportunities and accomplishments. I would like to have the opportunity to work in a firm that will enable me to futher my education with hands-on experience as well as a place that will allow me to excel with the abilites I have aquired. "Melissa is stable, steady and disciplined... She is a solid worker who never lets her team mates down. She meets her deadlines and is simply happy, as you can see from that infectious smile! Her designer sensibilities truly emerged in this final studio work as she created an edgy calculated design for the nightclub Blanco. The guest jurors, a committee of stringent architects, commended her for her ability to articulate her conceptual design in visual formats. As one faculty member put it...”Look out world! Melissa has emerged.” " Lynn M. Jones Professor & Chair Interior Design Brenau University |
